Consistent quality for projects

I've been using Pngtree for a while now, mainly for social media post templates and their AI background remover. This last time I downloaded some festive illustrations for a client project, and as usual, the quality was consistent. It's why I keep coming back. The files are always clean, and the AI tool saves a lot of time. No issues, just reliable service like before.

Amazing selection, so helpful!

Oh my goodness, I just had to get a premium subscription because I needed so many UI kits and 3D graphic elements for my new app design project! Pngtree totally delivered. The variety is insane, I spent hours just browsing all the cool stuff. Everything downloaded super fast and was exactly what I was hoping for. I'm already telling all my designer friends about it, it's such a lifesaver!

Easy to find what I needed

Needed some abstract backgrounds for a personal project and stumbled upon Pngtree. The site was pretty straightforward to navigate. Found a few cool ones and downloaded them without any fuss. I just got the free daily downloads, and it was enough for what I needed this time around. Pretty happy with it, seemed easy enough to use.

Great value on lifetime deal

I was looking for a good deal on design assets and snagged their lifetime plan during a holiday sale. It was a significant saving compared to a monthly or even annual subscription, so that felt like a win. I've used it mostly for transparent background images and some flyer templates. The range of options is huge. It definitely felt worth the money given how much I'd pay elsewhere for similar quality. No regrets with this purchase.

Good asset variety, slow support

I purchased an annual premium subscription primarily for the vector graphics and PSD templates. The selection is impressive, I found several illustration sets that fit my project perfectly. Downloads were quick and the quality was generally high. My only real gripe was with customer service. I had a billing question and it took almost 48 hours to get a response, which felt a bit long. Overall, good value for the assets, but they could definitely speed up their support.

My Pngtree promo code isn't working for the annual plan renewal. Anyone else face this? It just says 'invalid code'.

A Arjun 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer

I always get a discount when renewing directly through their site, not with external codes. There's usually a small percentage off automatically applied after logging in.

16

M Manoj 1 month ago

Yeah, they have a 'renewal discount' sometimes. Not always huge, but better than nothing.

5

P PriyaS 1 month ago

Oh, really? I didn't see that. I was just trying to apply a code. Thanks, I'll look for that.

4

R Rajesh87 1 month ago

Hmm, sometimes promo codes are for new users only. Did you check the T&Cs for renewal eligibility?

10

N Neha 1 month ago

Yeah, Pngtree codes can be tricky with renewals. I always wait for their official renewal discount emails.

2

P PriyaS 1 month ago

That's a good point. I didn't think about that. It was a code from a random site.

5

A AmitK 1 month ago

I had that problem once. Turned out I had a typo in the code. Double-check for any extra spaces or wrong characters. Or maybe it expired?

11

P PriyaS 1 month ago

I checked it like five times, but I'll try again. Expiry could be it though, it was an older one.

Sometimes browser cache messes things up too. Try incognito mode.

S Sneha 1 month ago

Good call on the incognito mode, I've seen that fix weird stuff before.

My promo code isn't working at checkout. Any idea why? It's for a new user discount.

N Nina Lindqvist 1 month ago

Hmm, did you already make an account before trying to use it? Sometimes new user codes only work for your very first signup.

5

N Neil Hughes 1 month ago

Check if it's expired or if there's a minimum purchase. Also, you can usually only use one coupon per transaction, so if you've already applied something else, it won't work.

Do they have a student discount? My college email should work for it, right?

R Renee 2 months ago

Yeah, they do have a student discount sometimes. I think I saw it advertised during back-to-school season. Check their promo page or try contacting support.

C Colin Q. 2 months ago

I remember seeing one earlier this year. You probably need to verify with your student ID or .edu email. It's usually a pretty good deal.

Just renewed my Pngtree premium and noticed the AI Background Remover. Anyone tried it? How good is it compared to other online tools?

P PoojaR 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer

I used it last week for a product shot. It's surprisingly good! Not perfect for super intricate stuff like hair, but for general objects, it's pretty quick and clean.

14

R RahulD 1 week ago

That's what I was hoping to hear. I usually use Remove.bg but this would be convenient if it's integrated.

6

V Vikram 1 week ago

Yeah, it saves a step if you're already downloading assets from Pngtree. Time saver for sure.

5

K Kiran 1 week ago

I think it depends on the image resolution too. Higher res images sometimes give better results with the remover.

9

R RahulD 1 week ago

Interesting, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the tip!

5

M Meera 1 week ago

Could be. Makes sense, more data for the AI to work with.

1

G Gauri 1 week ago

It's decent. For basic stuff, it works. But if you have really complex edges, you'll still need to fine-tune it in Photoshop or GIMP. Don't expect magic.

8

S Sanjay 1 week ago

Same experience here. Quick and dirty, but not pro-level without extra work.

5

R RahulD 1 week ago

Figured that much. Most AI tools struggle with fine details.

0

A Anjali 1 week ago

Exactly. Good for quick mockups, not so much for final high-res output without some manual touch-up.

Looking at the lifetime deal, is it actually worth it? Or is it better to just do the annual plan?

D Dana K. 1 month ago

I got the lifetime deal last Black Friday and it's been awesome. Definitely worth it if you use assets a lot. It pays for itself pretty quick.

3

E Elena 1 month ago

Depends on how long you plan to use it. If you're a heavy user, lifetime is probably cheaper in the long run. Annual is good if you're not sure you'll stick with it for years.

Is Pngtree safe? Like, am I gonna get malware or weird stuff downloaded if I grab images from there?

A Anna Lindqvist 2 months ago

Nah, it's totally safe. Been using it for years for my design projects and never had an issue.

1

D Dan F. 1 month ago

Pretty sure it's legit. Never heard of anyone getting viruses from there, and it's a pretty big site for assets.

How does Pngtree compare to Freepik? I'm trying to decide between the two for vectors and transparent images.

T Tom Doyle 2 months ago

Pngtree feels like it has a better selection of transparent PNGs, especially for specific niche stuff. Freepik is great for vectors though.

3

R Renee 2 months ago

I use both honestly. Pngtree excels at the 'png' part, transparent backgrounds are usually better there. Freepik has more general illustrations and mockups sometimes.

Hey, thinking of getting a subscription, but can I use the images for stuff I sell, like t-shirts or mugs?

N Nick Lindqvist 2 months ago

Yeah, I use them for my Etsy shop all the time. Just make sure you get a premium license, not the free one. The free downloads have stricter rules.

4

O Omar Beaumont 2 months ago

They have different licenses. If it's for commercial use like print-on-demand, you usually need their premium subscription. Read the license details carefully though, some things might be restricted.
